St. David’s is a youth-friendly church in which we
continue to strive for the youth to have a conspicuous presence in parish
life. Our church treasures young people – welcoming them into our midst;
listening to them; responding to their needs; empowering them for the
ministry of the baptized, supporting them with prayer, time, facilities, and
money.

who are seeking to make the teachings of Christ meaningful in their lives so
that our love and caring for one another through God extends into the
community and the world.
Our mission is
to support St. David’s Church’s mission by building and maintaining a Youth
Ministry that:
- Supports the spiritual, emotional, and social growth
of the young people of our parish.
- Is committed to the youth’s sense of belonging and
serving.
- Is centered on our youth, family, parish and civic
communities.
- Is inclusive and flexible to reach out to all youth
in our community.
- Is theologically grounded in the ministry of Jesus
Christ, our Lord.
Three Goals for Youth Ministry
- To empower young people to live as
disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
- To draw young people to responsible
participation as stewards of the life, mission, and work of the
Christian faith community.
- To foster the total personal and
spiritual growth of each young person.
